Raimo Summanen, the Finnish coach of the KHL’s Avangard Omsk was relieved of his coaching duties before game 7 of the Easter Conference semifinals.  The team was facing Metallurg and ended up losing the 7th and deciding game.

The official reason for the sudden departure of Summanen was his health but according to players the coach was very harsh and arrogant and often acted nervous as the bench boss.

Our KHL Correspondent, Fedor Fedin, contributed to this writeup.
